Canon, Nikon or Sony? How to choose a camera 101

So, if you’ve rotated among camera choices or are looking for your first pick, there is no need to fret, I have a secret. Coming from someone who’s worked with several of these camera brands such as Canon, Nikon and Sony, this is strictly my perspective. Canon works wonders if you’re looking for that extra touch of vibrancy and color in your photos. The famous sRGB (standard Red, Green, Blue) color spaces are highlighted, and popularly used in monitors and printers.

Cons? That sharpness might not be all the way there unless you’re opting for the brands’ more expensive gear.

Nikon on the other hand will give you razor-sharp focus, it even includes eye tracking. Which means you don’t have to worry about every slight movement of your subject. It’s all automated. A point-and-shoot. Cons? Its colors are desaturated except for green.

And as for Sony, it does well to balance both sharpness and color. It even has outstanding features such as a silent mode where you can press the shutter button without any camera click noise. Most focus modes can be automated for shooting in live mode with a simple tap on the screen.

Cons? It is packed with amazing features, and this model will definitely leave a dent in your pocket with nothing short of an upwards cost of $1000, be it lenses alone or the camera bodies.
