Over 1200 converge at AmCham Business Summit 2024
About 1,200 delegates from the US and East Africa will converge in Nairobi on April 24 and 25th for the fourth edition of the regional American Chamber of Commerce Kenya (AmCham) Business Summit.
President Ruto will be the chief guest and is expected to lead a delegation of top government officials to scout for fresh commercial opportunities from potential investors from the US.
Other keynote speakers will be Gina Raimondo, the US Secretary of Commerce, Meg Whitman, US Ambassador to Kenya, Enoh Ebong, Director of the US Trade and Development Agency among other high-profile business and government leaders.
The AmCham Business Summit seeks to enhance sustainable and inclusive growth of industries while at the same time helping grow investments in Kenya and across the region.
The delegates are expected to share insights on various topics of relevance to industry including US-East Africa trade, climate action, digital transformation, as well as sustainable finance.

The Summit has a proven track record of success, attracting top-tier American and regional companies, and influential government representatives, and securing over $1 billion in new investment deals and grants since its inception. The 2023 Summit alone drew over 1,000 participants from 9 countries.
According to the organizers, delegates can expect to connect with new contacts and foster new business opportunities as well as engage with high-level public sector players to advocate for their business interests.
