Safaricom’s Saffire Connect to ignite engagements

Safaricom has started a nationwide initiative to engage and connect with its customers through a series of forums called Safire Connect.

According to the telco, Safire Connect is designed to ignite and sustain the aspirations of Safaricom customers by connecting them with opportunities and ideas that can propel their growth.

These forums will serve as platforms for like-minded individuals to exchange ideas on various topics such as personal branding, financial wellness, community opportunities, and the role of technology in powering success.

Fawzia Ali-Kimanthi, Chief Consumer Business Officer at Safaricom PLC, said the company seeks to enrich lives through meaningful connections. She noted that Safire Connect is not just about connectivity but about linking individuals to opportunities and knowledge that can positively impact their lives.

The format of the Safire Connect forums is interactive and immersive, aiming to deeply engage customers and reflect Safaricom’s core purpose. Participants will take part in workshops, discussions, and showcases focused on fostering connections and inspiring growth.

Key topics to be covered in these forums include the impact of technology on agriculture, the importance of personal branding and social presence, and effective personal financial management.

Safaricom has partnered with institutions such as Centonomy, ZOHO, Sidai, and KALPRO to provide expertise in financial literacy, cloud-based business tools, agricultural inputs, and supply chain management.
