Airtel Tanzania offers regional opportunity to Mercy Randa’s P&L
Ten years after Mercy Randa founded P&L Consulting Limited, a boutique business advisory firm, it has now entered the regional market by onboarding Airtel Tanzania.
The Nairobi-based C-Suite advisory firm says the move offers the company great potential for indigenous businesses in the realm of regional integration but also signifies P&L Consulting’s next phase of growth as it celebrates ten years of impactful operations.
The woman-led business is crossing frontiers into the regional market, which has a lot of potential for strategic communication services to enterprises that are navigating unique business environments.
P&L offers an evaluation of corporate strategies and financial objectives, aligning this with market trends to design pragmatic communication solutions.
Founder and CEO Mercy Randa expressed her confidence in the new development, saying that they were, as a corporate, ecstatic to be able to contribute to Tanzania’s economic growth.
“I’m confident in the growth opportunities that Tanzania’s booming private sector presents, and we’re eager to contribute to the country’s economic ascent with our unwavering commitment to fostering effective Communication,” said the CEO.

Job creation
The World Bank anticipates Tanzania’s GDP growth rate to hit around 6 percent by 2025, its long-term potential. Thus, businesses in the country are spearheading growth by fostering job creation, innovation, contributing to tax revenue, and promoting fair competition.
Notably, the country’s inflation, consistently lower than many in the region, has been on a decline since the start of 2023.
P&L Consultancy’s expertise spans a range of sectors, including aviation, development, energy, mining, financial, health, ICT, manufacturing, and real estate. This is because it specializes in areas such as crisis and litigation communication, investor relations, and public policy and has, since its inception in 2013, earned acclaim as a trusted partner in strategic communication and advisory services.
The firm has also received multiple industry accolades, such as the prestigious Public Relations Campaign of the Year 2022 in Kenya and multiple SABRE awards on the African PR industry stage.
It envisions a future of sustained growth by harnessing insights and data to enhance its advisory services, solidifying its position as a boutique advisory firm at the forefront of industry excellence.
