MultiChoice rich menu of content earns global appeal

For years, the trend has been Africa viewers angling for blockbuster movies and similar entertainment content from the first world for viewers to quench their thirst.

With the advancement in creative skills and investment in the industry rising, the content produced in Africa is fast gaining appeal from viewers globally.

The line-up of movies is just as broad, with Glasshouse for instance being one of the latest outstanding examples. As thought-provoking as it is entertaining, Glasshouse exists in a dystopia unrooted by time and place; its themes of family and forgetting are provocative and universally relatable.

The paranormal drama, produced in 2020, has received glowing reviews at several entertainment festivals around the globe, including at Fantasia in Canada and at the New Zealand International Film Festival.

Kelsey Egan’s dystopian take on family, secrets, and survival was also released for veiwers in the UK on Sky, Amazon, Google X Box, iTunes, and Virgin Media, followed by releases in Australia and New Zealand.
