Bongo star Diamond Platnumz sings his way into Warner Music
Warner Music has entered into a business deal with Tanzania top rated singer Diamond Platnumz as well as with his independent record label WCB-Wasafi.
The 360 partnership deal will see Diamond Platnumz, Warner Music, Ziiki Media and WCB-Wasafi team work together on new releases, brand growth and partnerships across Africa among other industry engagements.
In a move that fosters brand growth, Tanzania-based WCB-Wasafi will also be fused into Warner Music South Africa and entertainment company, Ziiki Media, while Warner Music’s international network will seek to introduce the Nitampata Wapi singer, Diamond Platnumz, to a vast global audience.

A 360 deal is a business relationship between an artist and a music industry company. The company agrees to provide financial and other support for the artist including direct advances as well as support in marketing and promotion. The artist in return agrees to give the company a percentage of an increased number of their revenue streams.
“I’ve built WCB-Wasafi from the ground up and believe that Warner Music and Ziiki are the right partners to help further grow our reach. I’m also looking forward to plugging into the Warner Network myself. We’ve got some exciting plans and I can’t wait to share more music with the world,” said Diamond Platinumz.
In recent year’s the Tanzania crooner’s record succes has come out working with artists such as Queen Darleen, Rayvanny, Lava Lava, Mbosso, and Zuchu.

Warner Music group is a New York-headquartered American multinational entertainment and record label conglomerate. It is one of the biggest recording companies and the third largest in the global music industry.
Currently, Diamond Platnumz is one of Africa’s most successful artists, having released multiple hit songs, and is one of the Eastern Africa’s most recognizable entertainment superstars.
He holds the position of the number one artist YouTube channel in Sub-Saharan Africa with more than five million subscribers and also has more than 12 million followers on Instagram.
