Eldas MP beats court challenge

Veteran politician Eldas MP Adan Keynan has won high court challenge against his election in August.

Mr Keynan’s victory had been challenged by Ahmed Boray but was ruled that the election was substantially held in accordance with election laws and that the iregularities did not affect the outcome.

The incumbent Eldas MP Keynan, will now be serving his 5th term as MP making him the longest serving MP in the 13th Parliament.
