In Brief

Buupass seeks larger share of coast route

Online booking company BuuPass has signed up Mash Poa buses opening up the Mombasa Malindi route into the firm’s routes expansion plans.

Mash Poa becomes the first among BuuPass’s network of bus operators serving key routes along Nairobi, Mombasa, and Malindi Roads. Mash Poa also operates along Kisumu, Malaba, Kampala and Busia as some of their most popular routes.

BuuPass has captured most of the western route with its most popular routes being Kisumu, Kitale and Bungoma. Other popular routes are Kampala, Mombasa and Busia.

It is now seeking to expand its coverage at the coast signing up more bus companies on the route that currently runs primarily on Modern Coast.

With its seamless integration into the BuuPass platform, long queues and last-minute availability concerns often associated with the Holidays as travel demands soar are firmly set to be a thing of the past.

This is because BuuPass provides real-time information on routes, schedules, and ticket availability, ensuring customers can effortlessly book bus tickets from the comfort of their homes or while on the move.

The digital booking platform with portfolio access to 1250 buses has sold over 9 million tickets owing to the convenient way of reserving seats for up country trips.
