Equity Bank shifts to more agile Equity Mobile App

Since its launch in 2016, the EazzyBanking App has served as a cornerstone of Equity Bank’s digital banking offerings. However, in a communication to its millions of customers, Equity Bank announced the discontinuation of the EazzyBanking App, effective March 15th, 2024.

This decision reflects Equity Bank’s commitment to staying ahead of the curve in the industry and providing its customers with cutting-edge banking solutions.

The bank said Equity Mobile App represents the next generation of mobile banking, designed to offer users a seamless and user-friendly experience.

Equipped with advanced features, Equity Mobile App aims to redefine the way customers engage with their finances.

Send and receive funds globally

Notable capabilities include integration with international remittance platforms such as PayPal and Western Union, allowing users in the diaspora to conveniently send and receive funds globally.

The Equity Mobile App offers a wide range of features aimed at enhancing convenience and efficiency for users. Customers can easily schedule payments, view account balances, and transfer funds to other Equity Bank accounts both regionally and internationally.

Additionally, the app facilitates regional and international trade by enabling users to send money to mobile wallets and check Boostika and EazzyLoan limits. Moreover, customers can borrow, save, and make payments using the One Equity Till Number, among other functions.

One of the key advantages of the Equity Mobile App is its accessibility. Available to both Android and iOS users, the app ensures that customers can access their banking services regardless of their device preference.
