Lawyers to get preferential terms on Sh3.3 billion UpperHill twin towers

Lawyers will have three months to get special rates on living space and offices in a new Sh3.3 billion multi-storey building being built by their savings cooperative, Sheria Sacco.

The lawyers Sacco launched a three-month drive, offering members the units at a 10 percent discount for those willing to put up more than 50 percent upfront.

The lawyers will also get a chance at saving in a high-yielding Mavuno Account that has a return of 8.5 percent per annum on investment redeemable in 5 years and a return of 10 percent if redeemable in 10 years.

The Sacco is mobilizing funds through pre-selling units and offering members a 10 percent annual return to lock savings over a ten-year period.

The Sacco is targeting its 15,689 members to fund the units that are set to be delivered in 36 months.

“We invite members’ subscription for the off-plan purchase of units to a maximum of one unit per member up to a period of 90 days on a first-come-first-serve basis,” said Sheria Sacco chair Justice Patrick Kiage.

The property will be split into one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, a spacious gym, and Zumba area, a multi-purpose hall, and ample parking.

They will have 64 units of one-bedroom apartments, 45 units of two-bedroom apartments, and 21 units of three-bedroom apartments.

The lawyers have a chance of owning prime property space in the UpperHill area which is sprucing up with expanded roads and new office complexes as the city moves away from the central business district.

The well-designed living spaces provide a comfortable environment to live in within the UN Blue Zone, the area that the UN considers safe and recommends to their diplomats.
