Mombasa Tuk-Tuk offer Little Cab means to new frontier
Taxi hailing app Little Cab wants to expand its presence in Mombasa by onboarding motorized rickshaws popularly known as tuk-tuk onto their platform.
Tuk-Tuks are very popular in the coastal city attributable to their affordability, reliability, and more especially flexibility in accessing alleyways deep inside the island town.
At the moment, Little Cab platform offers riding options including basic, ladybug, comfort, and comfort Plus.
The new addition, tuk-tuk, will be accessible under the economy category.

Craft Silicon Chief Executive Officer Kamal Budhabatti has been trying to expand his transport and logistic business which currently offers Little Basic for smaller-sized cars, Little Boda, and Little Parcel – available to both retail and corporate clients across East Africa urban centres.
Most recently, the company made inroads into Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia, targeting one of Africa’s populous cities.
The taxi hailing app has also gone into providing payment platform and credit for its drivers linking their digital wallets to pay for fuel, oil and other products at Ola Energy gas stations as it seeks to help cut transaction costs.
They are also extending Fuliza Fuel service based on the data on thousands of their drivers.
Little Cab customers will also be able to pay directly from their bank accounts to the merchant accounts by using their Little Wallet or by linking Visa/Mastercard to the Little App.
