Nairobi plans to cap the price of local wheat at Kes5200 a bag and curb exports to contain the cost of wheat based products like bread and chapati in the country after Kenya lost access to Ukraine and Russian grain on end of the Black sea deal. Ruto unveils Boma Yangu platform

President William Ruto has unveiled Boma Yangu, a digital platform where Kenyans can save and own affordable homes across the country. The upgraded platform is among over 5000 unveiled under the government digital services portal,  E-Citizen. Through Boma Yangu, Kenyans can register, save and own studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three bedroom apartments from various ongoing real estate projects carried out in partnership with private real estate developers.
