NTV’S Amina Abdi loses her grandmother due to Covid-19 vaccine complications

Former Capital FM presenter Amina Abdi Rabaar has been going through a rough patch over the past few days following the loss of her grandmother to Covid-19 vaccine related complications.

Amina announced her passing via Instagram on Thursday, April 15, while celebrating her relative’s influence in her life.

The TV host reminisced about the good times she had with her and how she was a pillar in her life.

She added tat her grandmother helped her become the woman she is today through her strength, guidance and unwavering support to which she stated she was forever grateful.

Amina said, “losing a parent is painful, however, losing a grandparent that was close to you hits differently.

“We lost her due to complications with the vaccine. We tried everything to save her but Allah loved her more. Ima Lillahi wainna ilayhi raji’un for all those experiencing loss in these tough times, take heart… it shall be well,” she said.
