Jubilee Health Insurance has unveiled J-Force, a digital platform designed to enhance efficiency within insurance distribution by streamlining policy management, client engagement, and transaction processing.

Apart from providing real-time business insights, J-Force will allow intermediaries to operate with greater speed and precision, from onboarding clients and managing leads to issuing policies and tracking renewals all in a seamless and paperless environment.

Speaking during the launch, Jubilee Health Insurance CEO Njeri Jomo said J-Force is poised to foster transformation in the insurance industry. "Jubilee Health Insurance recognizes the critical role that intermediaries play in delivering quality insurance solutions to our customers. We are equipping our partners with the technology they need to work smarter, close deals faster, and enhance customer service anytime, anywhere," she stated.

Additionally, J-Force marks a major step in the digital transformation of the country’s insurance sector, where intermediaries remain the backbone of distribution. With over 60 percent of policies still sold through agents and brokers, the challenge has been balancing traditional face-to- face engagement with the efficiency of digital solutions.

In retrospect, the move towards technology-driven solutions is part of a growing industry trend that has become a necessity across the insurance value chain. With growing demands for efficiency, digital innovation is streamlining policy issuance, improving customer engagement, reducing administrative burdens and responding to new market demands.

Juan Cazcarra, Group Chief Operating Officer at Jubilee Holdings highlighted the role of technology in shaping the future of insurance: “The way we access and deliver insurance is changing, and digital tools are at the heart of this shift. J-Force gives intermediaries the support they need to work smarter, move faster, and serve their clients better in today’s fast-paced world.”

On her part, Alice Njoroge, Director of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK), underscored the critical role of digital platforms like in professional development and industry transformation, stating, “The insurance industry is undergoing a significant shift, where technology is no longer an option but a necessity.

"Digital platforms like J-Force not only enhance operational efficiency for intermediaries but also serve as an enabler of professional growth. The ability to leverage data-driven insights, automate processes, and improve customer engagement is what will distinguish the next generation of successful insurance professionals,” Njoroge explained.

She said that as the industry continues to seek ways to bridge the protection gap, such innovations will offer intermediaries the tools to simplify their workflow and enhance customer experience.

The launch event brought together key industry stakeholders, regulators, and insurance professionals to explore how technology reshapes insurance distribution. With less than 3 percent of Kenya’s population insured, there’s also a growing demand for accessible, efficient solutions to bridging the gap between providers and customers.

All agents, brokers, and bancassurers looking to integrate digital efficiency into their operations will be able to access J-Force via a web portal within the Jubilee website in addition to a mobile app available for Android and IOS.
