Five-star victory: Jubilee Insurance shines at 2024 IHRM Awards
Jubilee Insurance scooped five honours at the recently concluded 2024 Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) Awards, which aim at celebrating institutions demonstrating excellence in human resource practices.
The regional insurer won the Best Transformation and Change Management Strategy of the Year Award, recognizing its impactful organizational changes. Jubilee Insurance was also named 1st Runner-Up for Best Talent Management Strategy of the Year, reflecting its commitment to nurturing talent and fostering employee growth.
Individual accolades went to Ann Karanu, Head of Human Resources, who emerged as the 1st Runner-Up for HR Director of the Year for her strategic leadership; Njeri Jomo, CEO of Jubilee Health Insurance, who earned 1st Runner-Up for People-Focused CEO/MD in recognition of her commitment to employee well-being; and Wallace Nzaui, HR Business Partner, who was honoured as 2nd Runner-Up for the Rising Star Award for his leadership potential and contributions to HR initiatives.
