Safaricom unveils festive campaign, Sambaza Furaha

Tech giant Safaricom has unveiled its festive campaign, Sambaza Furaha, a month-long initiative dedicated to spreading the joys of the season by fostering a spirit of sharing blessings and happiness among individuals while enhancing customer engagement and overall experience.

As the Safaricom Foundation marks two decades of life-changing initiatives, it will actively involve diverse communities nationwide providing care packages to hospitals, distributing food, visiting children's homes, and organizing lunch drives specifically for street families.

"Our 'SambazaFuraha' campaign is more than just offers; it's about coming together as a community, spreading the Christmas cheer and making a difference," said Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa.

The campaign offers customers a 1:1 ratio on Bonga Points redemption for both voice and data requirements. For instance, users can exchange 60 Bonga Points for 60 minutes, valid for two hours, or redeem 250 Bonga Points for 250MB, valid until midnight. This creates a personalized and rewarding experience in line with the spirit of the season.

Additionally, customers seeking home internet can take advantage of discounted prices on 4G Wi-Fi routers, now available at Kes2,999, down from the original price of Kes6,999.
