The long anticipated UEFA EURO 2020 championship feast of football action is kicking off at 22:00Hours East African time on Saturday, June 11.

With 24 nations and more than 48 games of Europe’s best talent battling it out, it’s everything that football fans have been waiting for since the pandemic disrupted earlier plans for the tournament to get underway last year.

“We are proud to officially unveil the UEFA EURO 2020 line up of football action,” said Philip Wahome, Corporate Affairs Manager of Multichoice, during UEFA EURO 2020 press conference.

You might be wondering why they are still calling it the EURO 2020 game, Philip explained that despite it taking place in 2021, it still remains the UEFA EURO 2020 reason being they need to keep the original vision of the tournament, which was to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the championship and how the football family came together to respond to the difficult times that Europe and the world had to go through in 2020.
