Elsa Majimbo inks deal with US earphones maker Beats by Dre
Comedian Elsa Majimbo is set to advertise Beats by Dre, an audio startup bought by tech giant, Apple, in 2014. The Californian-based company makes earphones, headphones as well as shoes.
Elsa is one of the brightest social media stars who made her name in the virtual entertainment scene in 2020.
From her viral Instagram videos that she began filming while at home during the Covid-19 lockdown, she has progressed on to land lucrative marketing deals.
Her satirical monologues usually feature her crunching potato crisps, leaning back to a pillow and using a pair of tiny 1990’s sunglasses as a prop.
This time in the latest ad, Elsa is featured with a pair of Beats Studio Buds saying that it’s not about the features the buds contain, but about the music washing over her.

The Studio Buds are wireless, noise canceling earphones. Their features include up to 8 hours of listening time, and are compatible with both Apple and Android devices besides being both sweat and water resistant.
The gadgets come in three colour shades: red, black and white and would set you back roughly Kes 16,055 ($149).
With a reach of 2.3 million instagram followers and currently running partnership deals with Fenty and Mac, Elsa is fast making her mark in the social media business space.
In March, popular singer-songwriter Beyonce listed Elsa among the ‘women rule breakers’ who inspire her. She has also been featured in the American monthly fashion and lifestyle Vogue Magazine.
